“We don’t have to go to wild places to find wildlife. A surprisingly wide range of species can be found in our cities and towns, from familiar animals like the raccoon to more exotic ones like the mountain lion.” ~Roger Tory Peterson
While I admit I have never come face to face with a mountain lion, I have seem more than my fair share of squirrels, bears and local raccoons. Coontree is one such place where I know I can watch the local wildlife.
Coontree Recreation Area, in the Pisgah National Forest, is a local picnic spot, and a place where you can play in the river.
About Shipping & Handling: Small or medium-sized paintings on canvas or on art paper can be shipped via USPS for approximately $25-$55, depending on the size. Large paintings that are over 30 inches in one dimension usually cost at least $70 to ship. 30 inches is when the price jumps for shipping, so don’t be surprised if the total package gets close to or over $110 or more to ship – especially when shipping across the country. Also shipping insurance will add more to the price of shipping as well.
